Poor customer service. Failing to return my deposit after the Agency cancelled my flight
I booked a flight to Ghana via Travel link. After paying the initial deposit of 100 pounds, they contacted me to say the flight is cancelled on the date I want to travel
They offered me a different flight on the date which is not convenient for me to travel.
The fare was more expensive than what they quoted.
I was so upset so I had to buy another ticket.
I requested my deposit of 100 pounds but the offered my a voucher which is restricted to only their agency. Which means I cant travel freely with any other Agent
I have been chasing travel link for my money but they keep telling me stories.
I spoke to the senior manager, and he only apologised and he said I can use the voucher to travel with them in future.
I want travel link to refund my money to me since they couldnt deliver the service

My names are Victoria Pyahen Ali-Bari. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service rendered by your company, TravelLink.
On the 22nd, I bought an online ticket to Copenhagen/Denmark for the 25th July, with a return date of 29th July. The service offered included an automatic check-in boarding pass...Ticket booking reference...179*****, Airline Booking Reference..PTLPEP, 8GQHTD. I received confirmation of being checked in and was issued a boarding pass. I tried to open the boarding pass, but it informed me that it would be available 8 hours prior.
I assumed this was normal. Upon arrival at the airport, the boarding pass still displayed '8 hours before the page will be available'. I attempted to use the automatic check-in at the airport multiple times but all efforts proved futile. I then approached an airport staff member who also faced the same challenge.
She took me to their center to verify the system and informed me I needed to contact the agent from whom I bought the ticket, as they did not check me in as stated in the file I was showing her (Checked in). I began searching for TravelLink's customer service number in the app I downloaded on my phone, but found no contact information. At this point, I was devastated. I finally searched through Google, filling in a form explaining why I needed a contact before gaining access to their telephone line.
I then proceeded to call and waited for over an hour regarding the same issue. As my journey to Denmark was based on a medical appointment, I had to book a new ticket for the same day, 25.07.2024, to ensure I would make my appointment on the morning of the 26th of July. I booked a one-way ticket to Denmark, assuming I would travel back with the same return ticket from TravelLink. However, I could not check in from Denmark.
I therefore called the TravelLink office in Sweden, and was informed that since I missed the first flight, I could not return on the same flight. This information was distressing and I am still traumatized by the ordeal they put me through. I would like to understand why TravelLink claimed they checked me in when I was not found checked in on that flight. I was sent a boarding pass that does not exist.
why won`t i use my return ticket even when i wanted to check in myself?
I still received a link showing that i have been checked in for return and when i open the file, it says it will take 8 hours before i can view the page. I have to pay for another ticket to return which is very costly then my normal budget.
I need Travellink to pay me back all expenses.

It's crazy you are supposed and allowed to start from Nairobi Kenya only with ONE SUITCASE maximum 46 kg not 2. But reaching Stockholm Arlanda for departure to Luleå Airport you are allowed to have 2 each 23 kg.
Ok I'm aware that 23 kg is maximum on each in Sweden.
But WHY can't you be allowed to start with 2 luggage each 23 kg from Kenya??? Very strange asking me!!

The Qatarairways did not pass me to travel from Baghdad to Helsinki
At checking-in at Baghdad airport they did not do the boarding pass for me as they claiming that my first name should be Neim instead Karam.
In Finnish passport details are the following:
Surname: Al-Khazarji
Given names: Neim Jabbar Karam
In Finland can be used anyone of the given names and this is not the first time to travel with this name. Please could you help to sort it out by change the the first name and booking for the next flight of refund it.

Absolute con artists and liars, took £100 deposit with the absolute guarantee and promise that the price wouldn't change come the end of the month ready to pay the outstanding the price had doubled and deposit non refundable well they want to keep £75 for lying, there's no misunderstanding, clear as day written in black and white, triple checked, asked if it was safe and the price was the price, they are not ABTA absolute con artists, avoid at all cost

My mother passed away during the pandemic and I missed her funeral due to Covid restrictions. I hadnt been able to travel since, but vowed that I would make the journey and visit her grave this year.
I had been directed to Travellinks website after finding a reasonably-priced package with flight and accommodation on Booking.com.
I added 52.50 for Travel Insurance, 4.00 for Automatic Check-In and 9.99 for Notifications. The total for these extras should have been 66.50.
After paying, I realized that Travellink had actually charged me nearly 300 above the original online flight price, including doubling the prices for travel insurance and automatic check-in, claiming when I rang them that the price shown was for one way only (NOT evident at all on the page or prior to payment). They had also added some mysteriously high service charges which were not obvious until after clicking to pay.
During that time, I received an airline reference number for a flight that never existed. They then avoided answering my request for the real number.
I never actually received a working airline reference before taking my outgoing flight with SAS. I was not able to check-in online at all and had to stay awake all night trying to contact Travellink, Virgin and SAS, on the day of my flight. I was clearly not checked in properly for my return flight with SAS either as I was stopped at the gate and made to wait while they searched the system for my details.
While I was away, Travellink returned 8 in compensation for them not being able to check me in. They are now lying by implying that this was my fault, claiming that I had not responded to a written request for check-in details, despite me answering them directly after seeing their message.
They are also blatantly ignoring the fact that they themselves had sent a reference number that was not able to be used anyway.
Because of the huge amount of stress caused and the large amount of money taken, I left a bad review on Trustpilot.com and their response to finding it was to request my customer details, but only so they could do what they usually do and post a standard answer to any negative review on that website.
To date, they are resisting paying back the extra money they have taken and are clearly hoping that Ill eventually give up and stop chasing them. I have already contacted several organizations that say that they will help me to get my refund and have also passed the details on to a department dealing with Customer Investigations.
This is a company that uses fraudulent practices to lie, cheat and steal from their customers.
DO NOT TRUST TRAVELLINK!
